No signatures. Rusting to staples. A 1/2" tear and a 2/3" chip to rear wrapper. ; 26 pages. Printed wrappers. Page dimensions: 223 x 145mm. Bookplate of Thomas Chamberlin Chamberlin tipped in as the frontispiece. Uncommon and interesting. Begins with an essay on bookplates, particularly in New Zealand, and the use of the term "Ex Libris". Followed by a listing of 695 bookplates, with their owner, the artist's name, the style (e.g. Armorial, Rebus, Symbolic), and type (e.g. linocut, engraving, photogravure) of bookplate. The exhibition consisted of the collections of Johannes Andersen, the New Zealand Ex-libris Society; Hilda Wiseman; and Percy Neville Barnett of Sydney. Cover title: "Catalogue of First Exhibition of Book-Plates".; 8vo
