Joints strong. 2/3" piece of leather missing at head of spine. Gilt rubbed from edges of boards. <1/4" chips to leather at corners of boards. 1/2" split to leather at head of rear joint. Rear free endpaper missing. A couple of 1/4" tears to inner margin of title page. Gutter broken at title page. Amateur glue repair to gutter of front free endpaper. ; An attractive contemporary full calf binding. Gilt panels to both boards. Gilt decoration to spine. Gilt decoration to edges of boards.
