Previous owner's signature and bookseller's rubber stamp on front endpaper. Some bruising and rubbing to corners of boards and ends of spine. Some underlining and marginalia, mostly in pencil. No dust wrapper.; 234 pages. Black boards with gilt lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 196 x 128mm. The author's second novel (his first was "The Scarecrow"). "Came a Hot Friday" was made into a movie by New Zealand director Ian Mune in 1985. The cast included New Zealand comedian Billy T. James.; 8vo
