Cloth sleeve at rear has a 3/4" tear at top and some fraying to edges.; Second edition. 664 pages + frontispiece + 48 black-and-white illustrations on 28 black-and-white plate leaves + 4 colour plate leaves (including 1 full page "Colour Sketch Map of Kuwait and its Surroundings) + 11 of 12 maps (including 7 folding sheets in sleeve at rear) + 6 folding pedigree charts in sleeve at rear. Lacking 1 map: "Falaika Island". Orange cloth boards with red panel and gilt lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 231 x 155mm. Orange cloth sleeve at rear endpaper contains 7 (of 8) folding map sheets, and 6 folding pedigree charts.
