The 'Southern Cross Story Readers' were a precursor to the numbered series of 'Whitcombe's Story Books'. The numbered series of Whitcombe's Story Books began in 1927. This title "Cast Up By The Sea' was later issued as No. 606 in the Whitcombe's Story Books series.
