Some dust stains to top page edges. Owner's name "PUTTICK" faintly visible in ink on top page edges. Owner's signature on front endpaper: "Lt. Col. E. Puttick // N. Z. R. B. // Brocton, // Staff. // 20-6-18." This was Lieutenant General Sir Edward Puttick's copy. Puttick was the first New Zealand born soldier to be given the rank of Lieutenant-General.
