No signatures. Small 3/8" tear to stub of folding map. Gutter partly split between half-title and folding map, and also between folding map and title page. Later paper spine. At some point the whole boards would have been under a later paper covering, as at present the only remains are the brown paper on the spine and also the same brown paper present as flaps pasted down onto the endpapers, which obscure the text of the advertisement on the rear pastedown. 1/2" chip to blank margin of one leaf. Pages vii-xi are a preface to the second edition. The printed area of the map measures c. 280 x 185mm.
