This volume contains carbon duplicates of the Aramoana Progress League's outgoing correspondence. It contains 100 pages of letters, from 5 March 1940 up to 11 December 1949. The secretaries were R. Murray and G. L. Brander. Stationery carbon duplicate book. Quarter cloth and marbled paper card boards. Page dimensions: 282 x 212mm. "I am writing on behalf of the Aramoana Progress League to point out the advantages of a proposed new road connecting Hayward's Point with Aramoana & trusting your Association will assist us in procuring this. The road will give a roudn trip & in doing this will enable a rural delivery to be run to these parts. IT will also proved an outlet for the Residents in the event of further big slips on the low road during the Winter. We feel this road will be a real asset to the Aramoana District." - letter to the Automobile Association (Otago), 23 March 1946.
