Chapter I is "From the First Invasion of India by the Nations in the North, till the Expulsion of the Gaznevide Dynasty. Chapter V is "A Comparison of the State of Civilisation among the Mohammedan Conquerors of India, with the State of Civilisation among the Hindus." vi, 374 pages.
