Heavy rubbing to leather and boards on both volumes. Edges of boards rubbed heavily with most of the paper lost from along the edges. Volume Two with a large tear to the front free endpaper, and the first ten leaves detached and loose. Volume Three with a 10mm chip to leather at tail of spine. Volume Three with a previous owner's signature dated 1847 on the front free endpaper.; Volumes Two and Three only of three volumes. Volume Two [1-2 (title)] 1-120 (musical notation) [1-3 (Index)] [1 (blank)] pages. Volume Three: [1-2 (title)] 1-120 (musical notation [1-3 (Index) [1 (blank)] pages. Page dimensions: 240 x 167mm (9 3/8" x 6 1/2") Contemporary half green leather and marbled boards. Printed throughout as copper engravings, including the title pages and Index pages. Volume Two has the imprint: "London, Pulished by Monro & May, 11, Holborn Bars, near Middle Row (Removed from 60, Skinner Strt, Snow Hill". Volume Three has the imprint: "London, Published by J.
